Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver is responsible for the transportation and delivery of parcels and packages on a daily assigned route, while meeting our company’s scheduling and quality standards. The Delivery Driver will provide excellent customer service by ensuring safe delivery, resolving problems, and following Service of Process and Driving Team Guidelines.

Driver Responsibilities, to:

• Maintain a regular and predictable attendance to keep our client operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Work the Monday through Saturday schedule.
• Operate & maintain delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare delivery routes, including scanning packages and loading vehicle.
• Deliver and pickup merchandise following proper procedures, and complete documentation.
• Comply to all safety protocol (DOT and FMCSA regulation).
• Ensure a positive attitude with colleagues, end customers, and clients.
• Report any issues, incidents, or challenges to the Station Manager.

Driver Qualifications:

• Clean driving record (no DUI’s, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc., for the past 5 years).
• Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years).
• Must have a valid driver’s license current for more than 3 years.
• High school education, GED, or equivalent (strongly preferred).
• Legal status to work in the USA.
• Able to pass a drug and/or alcohol test.
• Must be fluent in English with customer service skills.
• Must be punctual, energetic, reliable, and honest.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (for alcohol transportation).
• Ability to navigate and read a map.
• Ability to use GPS and mapping software.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to drive assigned routes in all kinds of weather and road conditions.
• Ability to load and unload a delivery truck.
• Ability to keep accurate written records and logs.
